Holiday Traditions

With the holiday season upon us, we love to hear what fun things you and your family are planning to do! Do you have a favorite annual holiday event or neighborhood of Christmas lights you enjoy in Lake Norman? Do you attend the annual Christmas Boat Parade at the Penninsula?Dr. Woodruff and her family enjoy baking a variety of homemade cookies, and decorating gingerbread houses together. She also LOVES Hallmark Christmas movies, and creating an annual Christmas card full of photos of her entire family. Her countdown to Christmas music begins the day after Halloween, and if she could, she would listen to it year round!Donna spends Christmas Eve with her husband, children, and Goldendoodles Archie & Nash. Donna and her daughter, Danielle watch the movie Elf together every year and when the winter weather cooperates, they love playing outside in the snow, and building snowmen!Katie and Kelsey are both newer to the Charlotte/Lake Norman area and are still working on establishing their holiday traditions.Katie spends Christmas with her Brother, Sister-in-Law and Neices/Nephews. She also enjoys spoiling her Beagle Lacey, and Husky pup Brody. Fun fact: Katie has collected a new nutcracker every year since she was little (check out her collection above!)Kelsey and her boyfriend Dakota have spent the last two Christmas Eve's at Zootastic Park in Troutman, touring the synchronized Christmas lights, feeding the Giraffes, and playing with exotic baby animals while visiting with Santa! Kelsey also loves going adventuring in the mountains to find the best areas with snow, both to take her dogs, and to build a gigantic snowman.
